Sapphic Songs to Swoon To is an intimate cabaret performance celebrating lesbian artists from the 1920s to today through song, storytelling and projected imagery.

Interweaving iconic sapphic music with personal stories of growing up lesbian in Brisbane in the 1960s, Bernie McKinlay explores identity, resilience and belonging. The show honours the artists whose music offered courage, visibility and hope in a world that was often hostile to queer women.
