The future of trans theatre.

The Trans Theatre Symposium is creating space for dialogue and support for Queensland Trans Artists and stories. It is a three-day program of masterclasses, new play developments, showings and panels. It’s a time for us to celebrate trans excellence, trans joy, trans storytelling, and Queensland’s talented trans community.

As part of the program, an open call is now inviting emerging writers and creatives to apply for targeted development sessions, creating opportunities to connect, build skills and help shape new work, with works in development showcased as part of the symposium.
