Sanctuary of Surrealism

The Sanctuary creates an immersive Methectic theatre of ritual where images come alive, and the edges between the known and otherwise blur, where poetry and dance, the sacred and the profane, visceral and mysterious come together, creating collective effervescence in celebration of mad love.

Arrive to the Higher-Than-High-Tea-The-High-est Tea Ceremony, into a world where everyone is a poet to braid worlds into the mane of collective destiny, as we cavort across the rainbow to the horizons of the marvellous.

You are invited to take part in a collective marriage of worlds…should you say 'I do' on this New Moon, you become the betrothed and journey into the domain of the Marvellous.

Live music by The Byron Dreaming.

Prints of Craig Ruddy's artworks are provided by Roberto Meza Mont and videography are supplied by Molly Reynolds.

Disclaimer: This is a relaxed high tea runway wedding life drawing ritual theatre performance rehearsal seminar and will therefore include compulsory celery upon arrival. One Night Only.

Sanctuary of Surrealism

"The crowd was silent, frozen and poised in awe, wondering what in the world was going to happen next. They, seemingly effortlessly, blurred the lines between crowd and stage. Actors and festivalgoers became entranced in the story. It was beautiful, funny and heartfelt."
