The Inaugural Blak Drag King Pageant

The fiercest Blak drag pageant in the country is back!

Born from the legacy of Miss First Nation, history is being made with the world premiere of the first Mr First Nation pageant in October 2026 as part of Melt Festival, Magandjin (Brisbane).

This new platform celebrates the brilliance, power and diversity of Blak Kings nationwide. More than a competition, it’s a celebration of creativity, culture, connection and community.

Blak excellence. King energy. A new chapter begins.

This project is supported by Pride Foundation and Lesbians Incorporated
