delphic by Danish Quapoor

Danish Quapoor’s ‘delphic’ exhibition presents selected works from his ‘good grief’ series alongside complementary new works. These include illustrative biomorphic paintings on shaped, stretched paper, and an abstract animation. The exhibited fluid forms will illuminate the artist’s interrogation of (shifting) personal identity, familial relationships and grievances, and otherness within heteronormative regional contexts. These themes are layered with ambiguity, humour and misdirection. The works are also unified by their style, ostensible simplicity and sparse compositions.
