You have been selected to be a part of RISING TIDE, Spencer Tunic’s upcoming art installation as part of Melt Festival 2024.

If you are here, you may be having difficulties receiving important emails regarding this art event, but don’t worry! All important information will be detailed here so you wont miss a thing.
We will send a final email with detailed information on what you need to know no later than the 21st October – if you continue to have troubles recieving emails from us, you can check back here on the 21st October for all you need to know.

INFORMATION

Here’s the latest email – sent 17^th September 2024

On 27 October 2024 thousands of bodies will come together on the iconic Story Bridge in celebration of Brisbane’s inclusiveness. We cannot wait to see you there!

Spencer is still seeking participants, so please encourage all your friends, family and colleagues to join you by registering to participate at: www.melt.org.au/spencertunick

In exchange for participating you will receive a free print of the art event taken by Spencer as a gift from Melt Festival.

Please consider the following:

• The scheduled date is Sun 27 Oct. There will be no contingency date, so we will proceed rain or shine (providing it is safe to do so).
• Plan for the event to take place in the early pre-dawn hours through sunrise.
• If you’re coming from out of town, we recommend you arrange accommodation close to the Story Bridge the night before.
• Parking areas will be limited, drop off zones will be positioned close to the meeting points on either side of the Story Bridge.

More and exact info will be emailed to you 7-10 days before the installation date. This will include meeting time, meeting location, detail concerning drop off zones and further instructions.

FAQ’S

What time do I need to meet on the Story Bridge? 

We are still refining the timings but you should expect to have to arrive in the early pre-dawn hours, somewhere between 2AM and 3.15AM. We will send exact arrival times in the final email to participants.
