No Shoe No Show

In Smashville, there is only room enough for one mighty She-riff. A Queer scene so small, it makes Brisbane seem like a metropolis. Dusty and dried up, everyone has already done it with someone’s dad, dog breeder, and dealer. That is until fresh meat blows into town...

Siblings act that is (between them) totally a triple threat. This show is silly, satirical and downright dirty. Contains multiple personalities and puppets with a drag king lead. A commentary on toxic masculinity, current Queer culture in Brisbane and the artist’s experience of growing up in suburban Canberra in the early 2000s.

Doors open 6:00pm for a 6:30pm start.

This project is supported by the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland.
